Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 30, 2026. This policy explains what data SAVEDLY (savedly.net) collects, why, and what your rights are. The short version: we collect the minimum needed to run a free, abuse-resistant file sharing service, and we do not sell your data.

1. Data we collect

• Files you upload and their metadata (file name, size, type, upload date). Files are deleted automatically after 7 days without visits.
• The uploader's IP address, kept for abuse prevention and legal compliance (for example takedown requests).
• Basic technical logs (requests, timestamps, user agent) used for security monitoring and to keep the service running. Logs rotate and are not kept indefinitely.
• Aggregated, cookie-free usage statistics (page views, plays, downloads per file) that contain no personal profile.
• An attribution cookie (first visit source, kept 7 days) that tells us which channel brought a visitor. Details in the Cookie Policy.
• If you sign in with Google (optional): your email address and name, used only to list your uploads in your account.

2. What we do NOT do

• We do not sell or rent personal data to anyone.
• We do not read or analyze the content of your files beyond automated antivirus and safety scanning.
• We do not require an account, a phone number or any identity document to use the service.

3. Service providers

To operate the service we rely on a small number of processors: Cloudflare (content delivery and storage of public files), our hosting provider (servers), and advertising networks that fund the free service. Ad networks may set their own cookies under their own privacy policies; see the Cookie Policy for how to control them.

4. Retention

Files with no visits for 7 days are deleted permanently, along with their metadata. Reported or removed files may have minimal records kept where the law requires it. Server logs rotate on a short schedule.

5. Your rights

You can request access to or deletion of your files, your account or any personal data we hold about you. Uploaders can also delete any file instantly with the delete link shown after upload. Contact us at support@savedly.net or through the report form, and we will respond within a reasonable time. If you are in the EU/EEA, these rights include those granted by the GDPR (access, rectification, erasure, objection).

6. Children

The service is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children; if you believe a child has uploaded personal data, contact us and we will remove it.

We may update this policy as the service evolves; the date above reflects the latest revision.
