Security & Compliance
Last updated: July 30, 2026. What SAVEDLY actively does to keep the service safe for the people who download from it, and how to report a problem.
1. Every upload is scanned
Every file uploaded to SAVEDLY is scanned with ClamAV antivirus. Files flagged as malware are removed automatically. Risky file types (archives, documents) are scanned before the file is ever published.
2. Executables are blocked
Executable files (.exe, .msi, .bat, .cmd, .scr and similar) cannot be uploaded at all. This closes the most common malware distribution channel on file hosts.
3. Encrypted, signed and rate-limited
- The entire site is HTTPS-only.
- Download and streaming links use signed, expiring tokens, so links cannot be forged or enumerated.
- Optional password protection is available on any upload; passwords are stored hashed (bcrypt), never in plain text.
4. Nothing lingers
Files with no visits for 7 days are permanently deleted, so abandoned content does not accumulate. Deletion removes both our storage copy and the CDN copy.
5. Human moderation and reporting
Anyone can report a file with the report form, without an account. Reports are reviewed by a human moderator and offending files are removed. Copyright holders can use the DMCA process. Child sexual abuse material is removed immediately and reported to the authorities.
6. Delivery through Cloudflare
Public files are served through Cloudflare's global network, which provides DDoS protection and keeps downloads fast and stable worldwide.
7. Responsible disclosure
If you find a security vulnerability in SAVEDLY, please email support@savedly.net with the details. We read every report, act quickly on valid ones, and will credit you if you want.
8. Contact
Security questions or abuse reports: support@savedly.net, the report form, or the contact page.
